Hi I'm Thom, welcome to my website. As a disabled performer, it can be easy to be defined by what I can’t do. While I recognise my limitations, I want you to see what I can do – and what I can do far outweighs what I can’t. My work can challenge (and sometimes change) people's perceptions of what disabled people can do.
Please take a look around my site and see for yourself.

Disability Awareness Short Film TrailerThe Black Box: Awaken Trailer
I've cast Thom in two of my short films "The Story of Treloar's College" (2018) where he played a researcher and "Reasonable Adjustment," (2020) where he was a voice artist. In both films, he clearly and concisely nailed the brief with both precision and professionalism, and brought hidden depth and meaning to both of his roles. I would not hesitate to work with him again.
Thom has worked with me and my professional theatre company Pins & Feathers in a number of productions since 2015. Ranging from playing the ruthless official Annas in the contemporary passion play "First Light," (2015) to playing several historical characters from Hertford in "Voices From A Time Of War,"(2015) He also worked with us on "Plenty of Punch," (2016), a new play based on the diary of local Hertfordshire farmer John Carrington, during the Napoleonic Wars, which he helped research and co-write.
Thom has shown that he is a versatile performer, who can handle both comedic and dramatic roles, and he has readily adapted to some of the quite challenging, non-theatre spaces in which we have staged our shows. On many occasions, Thom has shown that he is a strong team player, and a valued member of the company. I would not hesitate to work with him again.
Thom played the lead role of Nick in our play "Sex and Disability"; a musical which performed at the Purple Playhouse Theatre in Brighton & Hove to sell-out shows in November 2019. Thom's role was particularly challenging, as it required singing, a lot of dialogue and a wide dramatic range to play a young man who becomes disabled following a stroke, but is eager to date someone. However, Thom succeeded in delivering the piece with emotion and vigour, and showed that he had a great singing voice. We were lucky to have him for our show and we wish him the best of luck in his future acting career.
I have worked with Thom on various productions, including "First Light," "Katie & Elliot's Big Night Out" and "Patriotism Is Not Enough." He is highly enthusiastic and motivated in whatever he puts his mind to. As an actor, he has played a wide variety of roles from theatre to television and is never afraid to take on new projects. He never approaches a role half-heartedly and commits completely to his character with thought and energy.
I have known and worked with Thom for many years. He possesses a trait that I find increasing rare these days, one which shines brighter than most... he is kind. Thom is a very personable and considerate member of the performing arts community with a talent for voice acting and an extraordinary mind filled with encyclopedic knowledge. We could all learn something from Thom and I truly believe if more people like him existed the world would be a brighter place.
I've worked with Thom on a number of projects over the years since we met at the National Youth Theatre in 2011. He is a very versatile performer, who can play both madcap comedy and intensely dark drama, and he can perform in an impressive range of accents too.
"Thom is an excellent candidate for the film project, and has been a joy to deal with. A very proactive actor and (I) have found a great affinity with him."
